Marie Girardet is an associate at Derains & Gharavi and has acted in numerous international arbitration proceedings governed by the arbitration rules of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Dispute (ICSID) as well as in proceedings under the UNCITRAL rules. She has more particularly acted in cases related to the sectors of energy (oil and gas) and telecommunications involving Latin American and African States. She has also acted as counsel in ad hoc international arbitration and has experience of peri-arbitral litigation before the French and Spanish jurisdictions.

Marie holds a Master I in International and European Law from the University Grenoble II – UPMF. She is admitted to the Paris Bar.
