Derains & Gharavi will be hosting the 2nd Edition of the Lusophones’ Arbitration Meeting on Thursday 4 April 2019 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm (Centre Etoile Saint Honoré, 21-25, rue Balzac, 75008 Paris, Salon Boréal), during the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW).
This year the participants will discuss “The New Digital Economy and Arbitration”, with three Panels about the following subtopics:
Panel I: Dispute Resolution in the “New” Digital Economy (NDE)
Panel II: Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Arbitration
Panel III: Predictions and Big Data: Expectations, Possibilities and Limits in Arbitration

Hamid Gharavi interviendra sur le thème de “La procédure dans l’arbitrage sportif” lors que premier colloque organisé par Sorbonne Sport law. Cette conférence intitulée “Jeux Olympiques 2024 – 5 ans, enjeux juridiques” se tiendra à l’Université de la Sorbonne, le 21 mars 2019.
Hamid Gharavi interviendra sur le thème des sanctions commerciales lors de la conférence “22nd IBA Arbitration Day conference: “Beyond the Governing Law: Mandatory Rules, Lois de police, Trade Sanctions and Other Conflicts of Laws”, qui se tiendra à Montréal les 14 et 15 mars 2019.
Yves Derains interviendra sur le thème de “The evolution of the theory of non-signatory parties, multi-parties and its practical application in Latin America” lors de la conférence X CAI Costa Rica conference consacrée au sujet suivant: “Analysis of the last decade, lessons, tendencies and challenges” et organisée par la CCI Costa Rica, du 24 au 27 février 2019 à San José, Costa Rica.
