Derains & Gharavi will host an event on sports arbitration at the French Tennis Federation followed by a cocktail at Le Carré adjacent to Presidential Box overlooking the Central Court of the French Open.
After a welcome address from Hamid G. Gharavi, and an introduction from Stéphane Morel, Secretary General of the French Tennis Federation, there will be sessions on (i) “Anti-Doping and CAS Case law applied to Tennis and beyond” and (ii) “Match Fixing in Tennis” with renowned specialists representing different segments of the industry, Giovanni Fares (Senior Counsel CAS), Ulrich Haas (Professor and CAS Arbitrator), William McAuliffe (Head of Disciplinary Unit UEFA), Antonio Rigozzi (Partner at LKK) and Ben Rutherford (Senior Director Legal, of the International Tennis Integrity Agency) followed by a Q&A.
Present and commenting will also be Mansour Bahrami (Head of Legends Tournament French Open and Ambassador of the FFT), Cedric Pioline (formerly ranked 5th ATP tour player and Director of the Paris Bercy Tournament) and Fabrice Santoro (formerly ranked 17th ATP).
